# Use Ultrabrowse

Use `Ultrabrowse` when a task needs source-heavy research, more planning, or careful comparison across pages.

## When to use it

Ultrabrowse fits tasks like:

* research that needs citations
* vendor or product comparisons
* migration planning
* security, compliance, or pricing checks across several sites

Use a normal task for single-page questions or basic searches.

## How it works

In the app model selector, Ultrabrowse appears under `Reasoning` when your account can use it. On the Free plan, you see an upgrade prompt for Pro.

Developers can also start browser tasks from the command line. See [Use developer tools](/help/developers).
